The Kitchen
The kitchen is a lovely bright and warm family room, stocked with all the home essentials, hob, cooker, fridge, dishwasher, electric kettle and microwave, table and chairs. There is cutlery, plates and cook wear in the cupboards.
Cold water from the taps comes from an underground natural mineral well and is perfectly safe to drink.
The Bedrooms
With two double and two single bedrooms, the villa is large enough to accommodate the whole family.
Each bedroom has a closet with linen for the beds and spares for the sofa bed in the Lounge.
Windows have external mosquito nets covering them and each bedroom has a Mosquito lamp to catch any strays! However, as we are in the countryside, we would still advise to take extra precautions like repellent sticks / sprays.
The Bathroom!
The washroom contains a normal toilet, sink and shower and a washing machine! Yes, we were surprised too. Locals keep them in here, so after a day in the fields the dirty clothes can go in the wash while they have theirs!
The water is heated from solar panels on the storeroom roof. The tank holds lots of very hot water for a few good showers and washing but once run out it wont be replenished until the sun gets to work again the next day. The trick is to shower late afternoon or early evening when the sun is still out.
The Balcony
Around the top of the house on the East and South side there is a balcony that is accessible from the landing – perfect for sitting in the sun or relaxing in the shade later in the day.
The balcony has a solid wall and metal railings. Please ensure that all children are supervised at all times whilst on the balcony.
The Gardens
The villa is not called the Garden House for nothing. On entering the gates you find yourself at the start of a sweeping driveway surrounded by an orchard of citrus fruit trees, pomegranate and olive bushes. Venture further and pass the new luxurious marble terrace and illuminated swimming pool to a large white family villa that the locals fondly call 'The Garden House'. You are welcome to pick the ripe fruit as and when you require it.
The Pool
The swimming pool is 5m x 7m and has steps at one end to allow easy and safe access to a depth of 1.20m to a deeper 1.50m (approx). There is plenty of space around the pool to find the sun or shade as required. Please be careful around the pool if wet as it may be slippery under foot.
